Yes. KHATZBIKE EBIKE provides a key to lock or unlock the battery whenever needed. Although, you can keep the battery outside as it is locked which makes it very hard to steal. However, you shall keep the battery inside your home if you live in an isolated or unsafe area. Manufacturers recommend storing the bike in temperatures between 0⁰C and 37⁰C to preserve its longevity.

How to Recharge the Battery?

You can either charge the battery when it is installed in the bike, or you can charge it by removing it from the bike and keeping it at a different place.

What if the battery dies?

If the battery gets discharged and you haven’t reached the destination yet, you can simply pedal the bike and reach your destination. When there’s no battery, the EBIKE functions just like a normal bicycle.

Batteries will be serviceable for between 24000 and 48,000 kilometres.
